Cafe Democracy

Grab a cup of coffee (or tea) and join us for a moderated group discussion inspired by RevolutionNJ’s Tavern Talks and the Rutgers Democracy Lab’s Talking Across Difference initiative. Channeling the spirit of camaraderie found in taverns and coffee shops, Café Democracy is a monthly event series bringing people together to discuss ideas and consider how we can strengthen our democracy.

The theme of discussion for this session is Town and Gown: How can Universities and Communities Build Trust?

Facilitated by Briana Huett, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Professional Practice in the School of Public Affairs and Administration, Political Science, Rutgers-Newark.
