2026 L'Hommedieu Lecture
All are welcome to attend An Evening with Fabien Cousteau, renowned aquanaut, ocean conservationist, documentary filmmaker, and grandson of the legendary Jacques Cousteau. Mr. Cousteau will take you on a hair-raising, inner-space journey to becoming an aquanaut during his famous Mission 31, all while breaking records and generating amazing new scientific discoveries.
By sharing his unique perspective from “the bottom up,” Fabien drives to motivate, inspire and create opportunities for us to change the course of oceanic climate change. Ambassadors from the Rutgers Department of Marine and Coastal Sciences will be onsite to share information about their research and the Sentinel Mission.
The L’Hommedieu Visiting Lecturer Series was created in 1982 to bring a distinguished individual to our community through a trust created by Paige D. and Frances Bradley L’Hommedieu ’26.
