RUCAA Afternoon at the Theater - Hand Me Down the Silver Trumpet

Come back to campus on Sunday, February 15th at 2:00 p.m. for an exciting new musical in the Gordon Theater! Rutgers-Camden Theater presents a new musical, Hand Me Down the Silver Trumpet, which celebrates the legacy of great African American musical artists of the 1920's and 30's who recorded "race records" for the Victor Talking Machine Company in Camden, and features performances of classic blues, jazz, and spirituals performed by students, alumni, guest artists, and a truly swinging band.

Join us for a reception immediately following the show in the Black Box Theater. There will be food and a Q&A session with the director and performers.

Cost: $20.00 includes show ticket and reception

Parking: Lot 14 on 3rd Street

Guests welcome but they must be registered.
