About Brisa De Angulo

Brisa De Angulo is the founder and CEO of A Breeze of Hope Foundation and co-founder of the Brave Movement Global and Movimiento de Valientes Latin America. As a lawyer, psychologist, and human rights activist, she has dedicated her life to improving access to justice and healing for survivors of childhood sexual violence.

Brisa is the petitioner in the landmark case Caso De Angulo vs Bolivia before the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. The Court's 2023 ruling sets new standards for legislation pertaining to sexual violence and government responses to child survivors, impacting over 180 million children across 25 countries in Latin America.

Her center in Cochabamba, Bolivia serves more than 500 children annually, and she has led A Breeze of Hope's expansion into Colombia, Honduras, Argentina, Chile, and Peru. Brisa's work has earned international recognition for its profound impact on child protection policy.
