Rutgers Living History Society Annual Meeting 2026
On May 2, the Rutgers Living History Society will meet for its annual meeting and the Ambrose Oral History Award ceremony.
- Viet Thanh Nguyen, the award-winning author of The Sympathizer, Nothing Ever Dies: Vietnam and the Memory of War, and The Refugees, is the 2026 recipient of the Ambrose Award and the keynote speaker at the meeting. He joins a list of distinguished individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the practice and/or use of oral history.
- Angela Scalpello, RC’76, an industry leader in talent development and performance management and the chair of the Rutgers Institute of Women's Leadership Advisory Board, will speak on her experience participating in the Pioneering Women of Rutgers College '76 Oral History Project.
