Alumni Relations
Report of the Task Force on Alumni Relations

In recent years, many leaders at Rutgers have felt a growing sense of urgency to raise the level of alumni engagement in the life of the institution. In September 2006, President Richard L. McCormick appointed a Task Force from the university community, including active alumni leaders, representatives of the Rutgers University Foundation, and deans and officers of the institution, to evaluate the effectiveness of the university's relationship with Rutgers graduates and to recommend improvements in the way alumni connect with and receive services from the university. Assisted by consultants in the field of alumni relations, and with the full cooperation of staff and volunteers, the Task Force worked through the 2006–07 year and presented its report to President McCormick in August.

The complete Task Force report can be downloaded here.

Please note that this report is comprised of the Task Force's recommendations, which have now been submitted to President McCormick. Alumni are encouraged to provide feedback to alumnifeedback@winants.rutgers.edu on the Task Force report, which will be shared with President McCormick.

Public Forums

The university will hold a series of public forums on the three Rutgers campuses. The Rutgers community is invited to attend and provide feedback directly to President McCormick.
