Community Music Program

Private and group music lessons are offered to alumni and their children on almost every instrument as well as voice training, music theory, and music appreciation. Sessions are available at McKinney Hall in New Brunswick. To register, call 732/932-8618 or visit http://rcmp.rutgers.edu.

University Choir

Open by audition to alumni and others who love to sing, the University Choir performs two concerts a year at Nicholas Music Center, one in fall and one in spring. Rutgers Glee Club

Broadway on the Bank

Theater arts students run a seven-play schedule with performances at the Philip J. Levin Theater or New Theater on the Douglass campus. Alumni get a $2 ticket discount. To order tickets or get a theater brochure, call 732/932-7511.

Dance Time

Dance performances are scheduled throughout the year at the Loree Dance Theater and the New Theater, both on the Douglass campus in New Brunswick. Alumni get a $2 ticket discount. Call the Rutgers Arts Center at 732/932-7511.

Rutgers Film Co-op

Alumni can become members and support the Film Co-op and enjoy films at reduced rates. Admission is $5 for most films. For more information, call the Film Co-op at 732/932-8482 or visit www.njfilmfest.com.

Rutgers–Newark Theater & Arts

The Bradley Theater on the Newark campus features performances conducted by the joint Rutgers–Newark/NJIT Theater Program. Call NJIT at 973/596-3457 for information.

Rutgers–Camden Theater & Arts

Alumni are welcome to hear instrumental and choral works for free in the Fine Arts Center’s Mallery Music Room. For more information, call 856/225-6176. Plays are also scheduled at the theater in the Rutgers–Camden Fine Arts Center. For information, call 856/225-6246.

Rutgers–Camden Center for the Arts

Located in the heart of the Camden campus, Rutgers–Camden Center for the Arts is distinguished by a full range of engaging, enriching, and entertaining arts programs. These programs include performances of music, theatre, comedy, and dance in the Gordon Theater and exhibitions of visual, cultural, and media arts in the Stedman Gallery, featuring both well-known established artists and talented emerging artists. Alumni receive a 20% discount on all ticket purchases, free admission to the gallery, and invitations to special events. Rutgers Gardens
