Talk Cinema
Created in 1992 by film critic Harlan Jacobson, Talk Cinema is an independently hosted sneak preview film series offering films BEFORE their theatrical release. Screenings are followed by discussions led by distinguished critics, filmmakers, and other industry experts. Alumni discounts are now available to all Rutgers alumni for locations throughout the United States. The Arts at Rutgers–Newark

Mason Gross Performing Arts Center
Mason Gross Performing Arts Center offers diverse and dynamic events including dance performances, vocal and instrumental concerts and dynamic theater productions. Events are held at various venues in the New Brunswick campus including Bettenbender Plaza, Christ Church, Jameson Theater, Kirkpatrick Chapel, Loree Dance Theater, Schare Recital Hall in Marryott Music Building, New Theater, Nicholas Music Center, Philip J. Mason Gross Extension Division Program
The Mason Gross School of the Arts Extension Division provides high quality instruction in the arts to students of all ages and ability levels. Alumni receive a 10% discount on Adult Programs, Summer Camps, Teacher Programs, and classes at the Mason Gross Prepatory School. Located in the heart of the Camden Campus, the Center for the Arts is distinguished by a full range of engaging, enriching, and entertaining arts programs. These programs include performances of music, theatre, comedy, and dance in the Gordon Theater. Alumni receive a 20% discount on select performances. Rutgers-NJIT Theatre Arts Program

Rutgers University Choral Ensembles

Geology Museum
On the College Avenue campus in New Brunswick stands historic Geology Hall, and inside is one of Rutgers’ largely unknown treasures, a museum of fossils, rocks and minerals, meteorites, mummies, mastodons, and dinosaur footprints from Towaco, New Jersey. Rutgers Gardens
Alumni can enjoy the Rutgers Gardens, which feature 50 acres of botanical collections arranged in garden settings. Admission to the gardens is free and alumni can take advantage of reduced facility rental fees. For more information, visit http://rutgersgardens.rutgers.edu or call 732-932-8451.

Robert A. Schommer Astronomical Observatory
This gem is located in the dome on the roof of the Serin Physics Laboratories, on the corner of Frelinghuysen Road and Allison Road on the Busch Campus of Rutgers. Wildlife Conservation Society (Bronx Zoo and NY Aquarium)

Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum
Home to more than 55,000 works of art, the Zimmerli is one of the nation’s foremost university art museums. It houses the largest collection of Soviet dissident art outside of Russia, as well as collections focusing on Japonisme, stained glass, children’s book illustrations, and American prints. Mason Gross School of the Arts-Visual Arts Events
Galleries in the Civic Square art school building on Livingston Avenue in downtown New Brunswick and the Mabel Smith Douglass Library Galleries on Douglass Campus showcase the work of prominent artists and exhibitions of works by graduate and undergraduate students at Mason Gross School of the Arts.
