Alumni Relations Transformation
The birth of the Rutgers University Alumni Association marks yet another milestone on the path toward forging a significant partnership between Rutgers and its alumni. The RUAA was created on April 24, 2008, when the Board of Governors voted to adopt its constitution and by-laws.
The new organization will be led by Jim Rhodes CCAS'94. Rhodes is the former president of the Rutgers University–Camden Alumni Association and was a member of the Alumni Task Force and Implementation Team. Please view the operational guidelines of the RUAA here:

Alumni are essential members of any great university community. They are lifelong stakeholders in the institution, and their passion for and loyalty to their alma mater inspire devotion that is second to none. These bonds of affection are very special, and institutions such as Rutgers cannot achieve their goals without them.
President Richard L. McCormick initiated this process in August 2006 with the creation of the Task Force on Alumni Relations. Visit the Alumni Relations Transformation timeline for the complete recap of events.
