Rutgers License Plates

Rutgers license plates are available in New Jersey, Maryland, and Virginia.

New Jersey

Plates are available for cars and light trucks for a fee of $100 per set. Call 732-932-7061 or email the Rutgers Alumni Office at ruonline@alumni.rutgers.edu for more information. To print the request form, click here. Return the completed form to:

Note: Personalized/vanity plates for New Jersey residents are available for an additional fee of $50 (payable to New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission). If interested, please indicate when requesting an application.

Maryland

Virginia

Virginia residents can order license plates directly from the Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles website at www.dmv.state.va.us or by calling 800-DMVLINE or 800-435-5137.
