The Rutgers Club of New York City invites all alumni and friends to join us at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for a formal tour of the newly renovated galleries for the Art of the Arab Lands, Turkey, Iran, Central Asia, and Later South Asia.
Closed since 2003, the galleries reopened in November 2011 to the excitement of critics and museum-goers alike. Should the weather cooperate, we will finish the afternoon on the rooftop of the Met overlooking Central Park while checking out this year’s annual rooftop installation, “Tomás Saraceno on the Roof: Cloud City.”
Price: $40 per person. Due to the size of the galleries, registration is limited to the first 25 people who purchase a ticket. Registration is available online only.
