Stop by 40.4993852o N, 74.4452621o W to tour Rutgers’ historic, beautifully renovated but perpetually mysterious Schanck Astronomical Observatory (Est. 1866).  A nod to the Tower of the Winds and ancient time keepers, enjoy the building's Greek Revival architecture.  Pause to see the transit room, a unique space once used to tell time and determine location.  Ascend the spiral stairway to the observation deck, and there gaze upon the recently restored vintage Prin refractor telescope (Mfd. 1929), an exquisite scientific instrument of the art deco period.

Reunite and mingle with Honors Alumni from the honors and scholars programs of Rutgers College, Livingston College, Douglass Residential College, University College, and the School of Arts and Sciences Honors Program, as well as future SASHP Alumni from the Class of '17 over light bites and refreshments. There will also be a special recognition of the five year reunion of the members of the Class of '12. Alumni may park at one of the three following parking lots of George Street. Lot #22 is across from the SAC; Lot #20 is next to Hardenburgh Hall, and the Parking Deck is across from Lot #20.
