Join fellow alumni, former classmates, and favorite professors for a weekend of fun activities, including a special evening at Adventure Aquarium exclusively for Rutgers University–Camden alumni. Graduates from all Rutgers University–Camden schools and years are invited!

Recent Grads Gathering  
(Classes of 2003 – 2014)

Cost: $10 or free with purchase of A Scarlet Evening at Adventure Aquarium Ticket
Soon-to-be alumni of the Class of 2014 will join graduates from the last decade (2003–2013) for music, food, drink specials, an exclusive Rutgers giveaway, and more. It will be a fun chance to catch up with friends and former classmates and to welcome the Class of 2014 to the Rutgers University Alumni Association.

Historical Tour of Cooper Street and Campus Art Crawl  
(All alumni)

6:00 p.m.
Cost: $10 or free with purchase of A Scarlet Evening at Adventure Aquarium Ticket
Meet at the Rutgers University–Camden Campus Center
All alumni are invited to join Rutgers University–Camden professor of history Charlene Mires and Stedman Gallery curator Nancy McGuire for an exclusive alumni tour of historic Cooper Street and Rutgers University–Camden. Learn about the fascinating history behind the buildings you rushed by on your way to and from classes, including the old Red Cross building, the site of the future Rutgers University Alumni House.

Meet at the Business and Science Building on Third Street
See how the campus and surrounding area have changed since you were a student on this exclusive tour of the campus, the surrounding neighborhood, and the waterfront.

(Classes of 1964, 1974, 1989 and graduates of 1963 and prior years)

Cost: $20 or free with purchase of A Scarlet Evening at Adventure Aquarium Ticket
Rutgers University–Camden Campus Center Multipurpose Room
The Class of 1964 celebrates its 50th anniversary and officially joins the ranks of the Golden Raptors. Join in a toast to this year's 25th, 40th, and 50th anniversary classes. Special tribute will also be paid to George Articolo, and Eladio Cortes, beloved retired professors, for their decades-long dedication to Rutgers–Camden students. All Golden Raptors (Class of 1963 and prior years) are invited to join the fun, too.

A Scarlet Evening at Adventure Aquarium   
(All alumni)

7:00 p.m.
Cost: $65, includes one drink ticket and complimentary admission to all other weekend activities. Cash bar is available. 
Adventure Aquarium, Camden
The final event of Alumni Weekend and the biggest alumni event of the year! The evening starts with a Welcome Reception with chancellor Wendell Pritchett and the campus deans. Meet up with friends and classmates; take souvenir pictures in the photo booth; and learn more about alumni charter groups, like the Rutgers University–Camden Alumni Association, Alumni Crew, and Veteran Alumni of Rutgers University. Then, enjoy a sumptuous buffet dinner followed by music and dancing among the sea creatures. Second floor exhibits will be open, including the touch-a-shark tank. It’s a night you won’t forget!

Parking Information:  

Parking on Campus: Free parking is available at all campus parking lots for on-campus activities. When using GPS devices, entering “303 Cooper Street, Camden, New Jersey” will take you to the campus entry at Third and Cooper Streets. We encourage drivers to use their GPS in conjunction with the driving directions at parking.camden.rutgers.edu. Handicapped parking is available in Lot #12, which is the School of Business parking lot across the street from the Camden Campus Center.

Parking at the Adventure Aquarium:
Secure and monitored free parking is available for A Scarlet Evening at the Aquarium. When using GPS devices, entering “1 Riverside Drive, Camden, NJ 08103” will take you to the Aquarium Main Entrance.

Parking at P.J. Whelihan’s:
When using GPS devices, entering “1854 East Marlton Pike, Cherry Hill, NJ” will take you to the free on-site parking lot.

Overnight Accommodations:

Overnight Accommodations: Several area hotels provide discounts to Rutgers alumni. Please visit events.camden.rutgers.edu for more information on those partners.
