2013 Gala A Success
This year's awards gala was held on Saturday, May 4. Honorees were Olympic champion Carli Lloyd, award-winning author Judith Viorst, CEO Joseph Rigby, entrepreneur Randall Pinkett, and former deputy mayor of Chicago Mark Angelson. Photos will be available soon.
About the Rutgers Hall of Distinguished Alumni
In 1987, the Rutgers Hall of Distinguished Alumni was created to recognize alumni who, through their remarkable achievements in professional and civic life, have brought honor to themselves and the university.
The Rutgers University Alumni Association is incredibly proud of these alumni, and we honor their achievements at the
annual Hall of Distinguished Alumni Awards Gala. The gala is one of the many diverse programs that the RUAA offers in its mission to advance Rutgers University by engaging all alumni.

The Rutgers University Alumni Association is currently accepting nominations for the 2014 Hall of Distinguished Alumni Awards. The nomination deadline is July 31, 2013.
A completed current nomination form must accompany each nomination. Please also prepare and submit a bio on the nominee that does not exceed two pages (Times New Roman font, size 12, single-spaced). In this bio, please include all significant accomplishments and details that qualify the nominee for this award.
Submissions that do not include a current nomination form and a maximum two-page bio will not be considered. Although not required, you may also include a CV or résumé, letters of recommendation, and any other relevant supporting documents.
