Eager to fall in with fellow alumni? Want to hang out without hanging at the catch? The Rutgers Alumni Rowing Team is open to graduates and adult family members. Rowing out of the Camden County Boathouse on the Cooper River, the team competes regionally throughout the spring, summer, and autumn.

The Golden Dome Athletic Center is an iconic feature of Rutgers University–Newark and a great place for alumni to work out or take part in sports. The geodesic dome shelters a top-notch indoor arena, a fitness center, and a 25-yard pool. Racquetball courts, tennis courts, and a dance and exercise studio are also located in the facility.

If you’re in search of a first-rate workout in New Brunswick, and if you like a wide range of options in your fitness strategy, Rutgers Recreation provides both. Visit the Sonny Werblin Recreation Center, the Rutgers Fitness Center, the College Avenue Gym, the Cook/Douglass Recreation Center, the Loree Gym, and the Livingston Recreation Center.

There’s nothing like a lively round of golf played on superior fairways and true greens. Add an alumni discount to the mix, and you’ve got paradise. Located on the Busch Campus in Piscataway, the 18-hole Rutgers University Golf Course is PGA-sanctioned and open from March through December.

Open Up Online Scholarship

Visiting a brick-and-mortar Rutgers library gives you physical access to most indexes, databases, and journal collections. The Rutgers library system has also compiled an in-depth list of bibliographic databases that can be explored remotely. It’s a huge resource, and you don’t need student status or a subscription.
