Rutgers' Most Distinguished Alumni

Each spring, Rutgers welcomes a select group of women and men into its Hall of Distinguished Alumni, the highest honor given to Rutgers graduates by the university. Honorees have devoted time and energy to the greater good of society and often to Rutgers as well. Many have triumphed in business, sports, science, or the arts.

Past inductees number more than 200 and include actor James Gandolfini, author Janet Evanovich, poet Robert Pinsky, and five former New Jersey governors.
