The Hall of Distinguished Alumni Award is the highest award the Rutgers University Alumni Federation can bestow upon an alumnus of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
It honors alumni who have distinguished themselves by contributions they have made in their fields of endeavor, by the leadership they have exhibited, and by the general benefits to the larger society resulting from their activities.
The Rutgers University Alumni Federation presents the 2008 Class of the Hall of Distinguished Alumni.

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2009 awards. The deadline for nominations is July 31, 2008.
A completed current nomination form must accompany the nomination. The committee also requires the nominator to prepare and submit a bio on the nominee that does not exceed two pages (Times New Roman font, size 12, single-spaced). In this bio, please include all significant accomplishments and details that qualify the nominee for this award. Submissions that do not include a current nomination form and a maximum two-page bio will not be considered. Although not required, you may also include a CV or resume, letters of recommendation, and any other relevant supporting documents.

Receipt of all nominations will be confirmed with the respective nominator at the phone number or email address provided above. Nominees are not informed of the submission.
